My Mission

My mission is to empower the pole industry in two ways:

  1. To become a body diverse and body positive space for people of all shapes and sizes.
  2. To empower instructors and studio owners to run successful businesses that grow the industry in new and exciting ways, earn them more money, and allow them to provide their students with the best.

My mission is to empower women in two ways:

  1. To love themselves, and build authentic self-confidence.
  2. To challenge our limiting beliefs, our negative social conditioning, and our unconscious programming.

How do I achieve this?

As a studio owner I run a body diverse pole studio with a focus on encouraging fun, freedom and self-love for every student who walks through my door. I have built a thriving community of joyful individuals who come together to express themselves in our pole, exotic, and dance classes. We ban any mention of weight loss or body transformation in our marketing, and every student is welcomed with the message ‘you have permission to love yourself here’. You can learn more about my studio on the Feelin’ Peachy Website.

I know that, like me, you believe that every student who joins your classes or buys your products / services deserves to feel like a VIP. My training brand Pole Royalty Training, is all about helping you to make your students feel like royalty. Through this training I help pole professionals to deepen their knowledge and develop their skills as both instructors and business owners. Whether these are skills in marketing and branding, in the logistics of running a successful business, or in teaching techniques and theory that are effective as well as body inclusive.

I am continuously blessed to witness people transform their self-belief and self-confidence following their work with me as a confidence coach. This is one of the most rewarding parts of my career. As part of my coaching work I provide resources and services to support people in their confidence journeys. Since 2017 I’ve been working with individuals and groups through workshops and 1-2-1 sessions, and soon these confidence workshops will be available on Pole Royalty Training as video courses you can complete at home.

Not only this, but I love to use my platform to help elevate and support other body inclusive pole brands. I am a brand ambassador for Hoodlum Fang.  This fitness wear brand for pole dancers and athletes is colourful, distinctive and unique, just like their customers. They offer some of the most inclusive sizing in an industry renowned for its limited sizing options, with many plus size polers naming Hoodlum Fang as their go-to poling brand. I am proud to be affiliated with this company, and they even design and produce my studio’s custom branded pole wear.

What about this blog?

I first started this blog in 2016, as a way to document my experiences learning and teaching pole dance. It quickly became a space where I could express my opinions on ways we can positively develop the industry, and a resource for helpful tips and information for pole dancers. I specialised in performance, competition and exotic pole, and you can still read many of those posts still by scrolling through the blog feed.

After a 2 year hiatus, where I was focused on developing my career as a pole dance instructor, and then growing my pole studio, I decided to bring my blog back. Now it will serve as a platform for my thoughts on industry development, resources to help pole instructors and business owners, and confidence coaching content to empower my readers.

I am so thankful that I get to work within this wonderful industry, I hope that this blog can provide you with insight, support and guidance. It is my way of expressing my gratitude for everything I have been able to achieve through the amazing art, sport, and craft of pole dancing.

Keep it Peachy,

Peach Lee Ray x
